Welcome to the Waverley Amateur Radio Society mailing list. This list has been set up for members and others interested in the club's activities to correspond on matters of mutual interest. The maximum size of messages has been set to 250k to prevent large graphics files or malicious content being forwarded to uninterested members. Photos are better placed on the club photo gallery or website which should be arranged with Simon VK2UA, though a couple of reduced size photos or attachments are acceptable. To stop spam you may only post messages from an email address subscribed to the list. If you want to post from more than one email address, then subscribe them all to the list. If you do not wish mail sent to one or more of these addresses, tick its "Nomail" option. System administrators can override some of these restrictions if considered desirable. Messages to the list should be emailed to members @ vk2bv.org When responding to messages, the default address is that of the person posting the message, so if you wish your reply to go to the whole group, use "Reply all" and delete the sender who will not want two copies. To search the archives of prior postings, use the link on the website or go to http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=en&q=%22your+search+words%22+site%3Aus.cactii.net&btnG=Google+Search&meta= and replace with your own search words. Using Members
To post a message to all the list members, send email to members@us.cactii.net. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Members
Subscribe to Members by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
