WAVERLEY AMATEUR RADIO SOCIETY

The presentation at the club's next monthly meeting on Wednesday, 
September 16th, at 7:30 pm will be a report on a recent "Dxpedition to 
Norfolk Island" by Raffy, VK2RF. There will also be our regular "show 
and tell" where interesting or unusual items of radio or electronic 
equipment are displayed or demonstrated.

Training weekends provide the opportunity for those new to amateur radio 
to obtain a foundation licence over a single weekend and for others to 
be examined for higher grades. Watch the club's website for dates of 
future courses. Anyone interested in attending, whether a member or not, 
should email the club at "exams at vk2bv dot org".

The clubhouse has a harbourside location in the Scout Hall at Vickery 
Avenue, Rose Bay with easy parking and is always open on the first 
Saturday afternoon of each month for a variety of activities or just a 
ragchew with all welcome to drop in. The next occasion will be on 
October 3rd.
