[Waverley ARS] Photos of the club's 1937 Field Day

Hi

I have posted some pictures of the club's 1937 Field Day in the National 
Park to our website photo gallery via vk2bv.org. Most of the members are 
identified. Portable operation with the club's trailer was active 70 
years ago. Quality is a bit poor as the prints are only 3" x 2" in size.

These pictures were lent by George Paterson, VK2AHJ who is still active 
on air and was a member of Waverley from aged 15 in 1935 until he moved 
from the Eastern Suburbs to North Ryde in the early 1950s. George 
contacted me following our article in Amateur Radio. Like a number of 
older hams, he is yet to find the time to take up email and the internet.

He may drop round one Project Day but he is not keen on night driving.
