WAVERLEY AMATEUR RADIO SOCIETY

A recent innovation this year is the re-instatement of the weekly net on 
the Paddington 2 metre repeater, VK2ROT. This occurs every Monday at 8pm 
local time and all are welcome to join in.

The club is busy planning for its 90th anniversary next year. Some ideas 
are listed on the club's web site including a special award for working 
club members. Full details of the anniversary activities are expected to 
be published shortly.

Every month an evening meeting is held on the third Wednesday and an 
afternoon project day on the first Saturday.

The club regularly holds Amateur Assessments & Foundation Licence 
courses at weekends with the next planned for late November. Anyone 
interested, whether a club member or not, should email the club at 
exams at vk2bv.org.
