The Spring UHF/VHF field weekend in on next weekend 15-16 Nov.

VK2BV will be manning Mt Kiera lookout outside Wollongong.   Around 1500 ft
high, the propagation is excellent and it is an easy 90 minute drive, mostly
expressway, from Sydney.   At the lookout is the Mountain Top restaurant and
function centre and excellent public toilets within yards from our
operations centre.   Our command post consists of two adjacent picnic tables
situated only feet away from where our cars will be parked.

The contests runs from NOON on Saturday to NOON on Sunday.  The area is open
from 0800-2000hrs so we have to be out by 8pm on the Saturday evening.   We
will be leaving the aerials erected and return 0800hrs on the Sunday.
VK2TUI and VKVEC will consist of the advance party and secure the area by
0813hrs on the Saturday.   The antenna team will follow later in the
morning, led by VK2BEH who excelled himself leading the same team at
Catatact. They are expected to arrive at 0938hrs.

To have a successful and fun weekend, we need to know who is involved, what
they can bring and the days and times they will be at their posts.
