[Waverley ARS] Remembrance Day Conference

Hi Members,
 
There was a bit of confusion at the last meeting as to a possible conflict
between the August 9-10 2008  Foundation Course and the Remembrance Day
Contest. 
The RD is on 16th August 2008 so there  is NO conflict.
 
The confusion arose because the WIA web page describing the RD contest
refers to the 2007 dates and has not been amended for 2008. The main events
calendar of the WIA HAS been updated and shows the 16th August.
 
 
THERE IS a  conflict between the International Light House Day and the RD
Contest, both being on the same day 16th August.
The lighthouse weekend starts at 0001 z to 2359 z (10 am local start, 9:59am
next day local end)
 
The Remembrance day contest starts at 0800 UTC till 0800 UTC next day (6 pm
local start till 6pm local next day end)
