Hi Jon,

Good to hear from you again.

Yes, the club does have a small library and I'm sure that the books would be
greatly welcomed. Such a windfall doesn't happen all that often, does it? We
would be most grateful of the addition.

If you would like to bring them down yourself, we have our meetings still on
the third Wednesday of the month and our project days on the first Saturday
of the month. Some of our members are also there on most Tuesdays from about
1000 to 1600. Alternatively, we could arrange for one of us to pick up the
books at some time convenient.

Once again, thanks for the generous offer.

73....Eric VK2VE.

does WARS have a library?

I have unexpectedly obtained duplicate copies of several books (an
Amazon order failed to turn up so they canceled the transaction and
resent it (successfully) and I thought no more about it. Last week
(some 6 months later) the original order has turned up!

I contacted Amazon and they have said the cost of returning the unwanted
books to the states is not worth it so if WARS has a library (or if the
books are otherwise useful for the club), I can supply:

1 x ARRL Antenna book (21st edition, 2007)
1 x ARRL Wire Antenna classics
1 x ARRL Low Profile Amateur Radio (2nd edition, 2006)

all are new books.
