Its good if the local paper actually printed the item but I suppose even 
the web site could be useful.  I wish we could get our local papers to 
print something similar, but we have tried submitting news items to both 
papers with no success. Obviously a paid small ad would do no good since 
that only works for people actually seeking a particular good or service 
with few browsing for fun, whilst a paid ad on editorial pages would be 
too expensive for the benefit it is likely to bring us.
