On the other hand club usage is likely to be less than 24 hours per 
year, whilst the more expensive ones might be expected to last for a 6 
months round Oz trip at 6 hours per night! Not sure how many extras are 
needed (eg fuel container) and how many 12v rigs can be supplied (60 
amps output?) though it many help to use 240v to prevent long cable runs 
dropping the voltage.  Maybe those who have used similar units might 
comment on features needed and sound levels. Enough members may own 
similar generators to provide for club needs.
