WAVERLEY AMATEUR RADIO SOCIETY

Please note that the club's monthly Wednesday evening meeting occurs 
next week on February 20th at 7:30 pm. The main topic will be a 
presentation by Alan VK2TUI and Tony VK2FREL of "Ham Radio DeLuxe", the 
software that enables remote rigs to be operated and is expected to 
include a live demonstration. A short talk will be given by Jon Kelly 
VK2JHK on restoring flat panels using screen printing for lettering. 
Visitors are welcome to attend.

The seminar on programming the Yaesu VX7R is being held at the Rose Bay 
RSL club on Saturday, February 23rd. The session starts at 10 am and is 
expected to last for 2 hours. Anyone interested in attending should 
email vk2faln at vk2bv.org for details.

Project days occur on the first Saturday of each month starting around 
10 am with the next on March 1st. These are informal meetings where 
members and visitors can operate the club station, work on radio 
projects, help with clubhouse improvements or just have a ragchew.

The club holds Amateur Examinations & Foundation Licence courses 
regularly at weekends with the next planned for May. Anyone interested, 
whether a club member or not, should email the club at exams at vk2bv.org.

Waverley's clubhouse is located in the Scout Hall at Vickery Avenue, 
Rose Bay, behind the RSL Club on New South Head Road. It is easy to find 
and there is parking in the grounds.
