Is there a way to search for an archived  message with a certain word or
words in the message text, Google style?

Just a reminder that if you have recently joined the club email list or
missed some postings, the full archive going back over 5 years is available
on line at http://us.cactii.net/pipermail/members/  The facility can be
handy to see if your posted message reached the list and you havent received
a copy, though this may also be due to you having the flag to receive copies
of your own messages turned off.

Don't forget that when posting messages you must use an address that is
registered with the list otherwise it is treated as from a non-member and
ignored.
