If anyone would like to give a brief show or demonstration of a piece of 
equipment at the next evening meeting, please let me know, otherwise I 
might bring along an RT85 similar to those the club has for disposal but 
modified for 2 metres.

Below is the text for our club in this week's broadcast.

WAVERLEY AMATEUR RADIO SOCIETY

Here are details of some of the club's activities over the next month:-

"Ham Radio DeLuxe", the software that enables remote rigs to be 
operated, will be the topic of the evening meeting on February 20th and 
is expected to include a live demonstration. In addition a regular 
report of club news and events is given. Anyone interested is welcome to 
attend.

The seminar on the Yaesu VX7R is being held on Saturday, February 23rd. 
Those who have no VX7, can buy one at Wyong next weekend. Anyone 
interested in attending should email vk2faln at vk2bv.org for details.

Project days occur on the first Saturday of each month with the next on 
March 1st. These are informal meetings where members and visitors can 
operate the club station, work on radio projects, help with clubhouse 
improvements or just have a ragchew. All are welcome.

There is an informal open house on most Tuesdays from around 10 am to 
late afternoon. If interested, call the club station, VK2BV, on the 
Paddington 2 metre repeater during that time.

Waverley's 90th anniversary will take place next year so they would like 
to contact past members who may like to be involved in the event or who 
may have details of the club's history.
