Good evening all,

 

Some of you may have come across the site owned and operated by L B Cebik,
W4RNL, which is all about antennae of all sorts. He had written heaps about
them over the years and his web site had become something of a standard
reference for amateurs around the world. 

 

Unfortunately, he became a silent key earlier this month and it was feared
that the site would be closed down but the news is good, the company which
hosted the site is keeping it open as a memorial to him. 

 

The site has been changed slightly so that it is now necessary to register
to gain access to it as there was a run on it just after he passed away as
many were afraid that it would disappear and so wanted to download
everything. This, unfortunately, means that the many links from search
engines will no longer work BUT by going in through the front door and
registering, everything is still available.

Another site mentioned during the club net tonight by Edwin VK2VEL is an
online site for designing your own QSL card and then getting it printed.
