[Waverley ARS] Electronic component heaven

Whilst many international travellers to or through singapore know of
the computer shopping centre 'Sim Lim Square', just across the
street is a similar gem, catering to true electronics junkies.

Called 'Sim Lim Tower', it boasts 4 or 5 entire floors of component
stores with all the sorts of things you can expect to see at Jaycar,
but many many more, and much much cheaper. There are even a dozen or
so stores dealing purely in semiconductors! Really cheap, and I 
managed to hunt some bargains down, but only discovered it during my
layover so not enough time to make a proper shopping list.

Nevertheless a must visit - took me about 2-3 hours to browse
everything. Oh and there are a couple of stores with ham radios
too.
