   For anyone on Bigpond Cable and experiencing problems paying for their
   accounts with Paypal there is evidently a persising problem with
   servers, see:

   and

   seems to be a spreading problem.

   tried "tracert www.paypal.com and www.paypal.com.au" and times out.
