[Waverley ARS] John Moyle field day next year

Hi all,

I wan to put a mini expedition for John Moyle Field day next year. the date
is the 17th & 18th March 2008.  it starts from 0100 UTC Saturday and
finishes Sunday at mid night.
so i say we get up to the location early in the morning a small convoy of
cars. i have been able to get a few location from VK2TRF, Jack just hope i
can get  a few more locations from him.

the places are not that hard to get too and it is OK for a 2 wheel drive to
get to.

1. Jamison Valley Traverse in the blue mountains. that is not to far it
should take under 3 hours to get to.
2. kings Plato. i think this is around the south coast area. not too sure.
3. razor back mountain, (near Picton). a few hours drive from Sydney. i
think there are a couple of ham repeaters there.
4. Any other suggestions.

my plan is to go on the Saturday morning  and get there 2.5 hours before
contest starts to set up, camp there for the night and head home on the
Sunday afternoon. or late afternoon.

the reason that i have picked this date/ contest is because the aim is to
encourage and provide familiarisation with portable operation, and provide
training for emergency situations.
