Hi
Below is the material submitted for the ARNSW broadcast this Sunday.
Some of you may have noticed that we havent had any material in the
ARNSW broadcast for a few months. It appears that our submissions have
vanished somewhere between my sending and the broadcast compiler. This
has now been resolved and in future I will send direct to Erik, the
compiler, rather than to the general ARNSW office email address.
I will be bringing along the Powerpole connectors for those who have not
yet collected their order.
The recently introduced lightning talks have proved popular and
something of interest will be shown for this meeting. If any of you have
a topic or something you would like to present, please let Doug VK2DCR
or myself know.
Turnouts for our recent meetings have been excellent, so despite a group
of members being overseas this month, I look forward to seeing many of
you there as I am sure all of us will learn something from David's
presentation. He and Benelec have been great supporters of the club in
recent years.

WAVERLEY AMATEUR RADIO SOCIETY
The club's next evening meeting will be held this coming Wednesday,
September 19th, at 7:30 pm with doors opening at 7:00. David Benchoam of
Benelec will give a talk and demonstration on "Antennas and Connectors".
The next Project Day is on the afternoon of Saturday, 6th October,
commencing around 1:30pm. Note that Project Days occur on the first
Saturday of every month and evening meetings on the third Wednesday.
Waverley's clubhouse is located in the Scout Hall at Vickery Avenue,
Rose Bay, behind the RSL Club on New South Head Road. It is easy to find
and there is plenty of parking space in the grounds.
The club holds Foundation Licence courses regularly with the next one
planned for mid-October. Anyone interested should email the club at
exams at vk2bv.org.
Detailed information about the club can be found on its frequently
updated web site at vk2bv.org or call Simon, VK2UA, on 02 9328 7141.
