Hello Colin,
I worked the 3B7C Dxpedition (will check their online log later to
confirm!!!) because of a spotting on VKlogger.com. I suppose DXclusters
on Ham Radio Deluxe would work just as well, but VKlogger is good as
they are VK spots. I only started using it recently and it's paying off.
There seems to be a lot of emphasis on vklogger.com with VHF and higher
bands, so that will come in handy over the summer high band season.
Only running a vertical here, but I'm looking forward to trying out 2m
DX this season anyway- missed it last summer, focusing on 20m instead.
Who knows, I might go modify an old TV yagi or something if I get
enthusiastic enough.
By the way, I have applied for a visitor's certificate to operate out of
mainland China. So I may call in at the end of October VK2VEL/BD7 (host
station).
