Dear Members

Users of the IRLP system on the Paddington 70cm system (Node 6250)  in the
last couple of days would have noticed that there was severe packet loss on
incoming signals, rendering the system practically unusable.

This was an unintended consequence of installing a new router for ADSL2.

I have fixed it now, and it seems to work fine.

For those interested, the fix involved disabling a feature of the D-link
DG834G ADSL router which provides port scan and DOS protection. I speculate
that the amount of time this feature needed to operate degraded the packet
receive time, causing packets to arrive too late.

Anyway, it works now, sorry for the inconvenience!
