[Waverley ARS] Test Equipment HP 8407a Network Analyzer

Hi Guys,
   
  I've got my HP 8407a Network Analyzer up and running. I've used it to look at the frequency response of a 30 MHz low pass filter and the response of an IF Transformer. 
   
  I'm wondering if anyone can suggest any other applications where a network analyzer might be useful? After all, I could just use a sweep generator and a CRO in XY Mode for adjusting an IF Transformer. There must be other applications for a 110 MHz Network Analyzer????
