                                Hi Colin, Yes it is able to, but may be
locked by the Manufacturer. VK2AJJ is not an "appointed"
dealer.He grey imports from the US, so it may be a US only version. Better
to be safe and ask him to 
                                confirm it is AUS bandplan compatible.
