Hi

Many of you will have received SPAM from the people below based on your
vk2bv.org email address. This was not the intended purpose of this
facility and I have replied to the senders as below.

73 Simon VK2UA

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Paul & Brenton

Our club member list is not intended to be a source of addresses to spam
(unsolicited bulk email) every member. It has been a convenience to
contact an individual member. I am surprised that licensed amateurs
would indulge in such reprehensible methods.

If you have a serious message for our club please send it to the club
email address on our web site and we will pass on the information to
members if it would be of interest to them.

I am arranging for our vk2bv.org mail server manager to reject all
messages in future from yours or similar addresses. Any further attempts
at spamming will be reported to your ISP as well as to the ACMA
anti-spam service.
