Hi Ben,

Congratulations on a project well done and very well documented. I always
wanted to build one of these but never found the time.

You may also be interested in a book called "Homemade Lightning - Creative
Experiments in Electricity" by R. A. Ford. It talks about the history of
devices such as these, along with Wimshurst machines, Layden jar condensers
etc. with lots of interesting experiments.
