The problem here is with cheap switchmode power supplies (and yes, often
the backlight supplies). We've got a supply for external hard disks and
it hashes all over the HF bands.
If you're adventurous, some modifications to the PSW might fix it up,
but otherwise only some clever positioning or perhaps manual shielding
can fix it.
