[Waverley ARS] Meeting proposal - Lightning talks

All,
Here's an interesting idea for the monthly meetings...how about putting
aside 1/2hr or so for a series of brief but technical talks for anyone
to present, on something of interest they have, sort of like a show and
tell?
Basically, anyone gets 5 to 10 minutes to stand up and talk about and
demonstrate or show off something interesting they've built or acquired.
To get the general meeting off to a start, we could also have talks both
before and after.
By allocating only 5-10mins each (or longer if you want), we should get
more people volunteering, as it's much easier than having to prepare a
whole hour or so of material. Plus, it should get people more exposed
and interested in the practical side of the hobby.
I, for one, have a few homebrew projects I can show off (yes, low
voltage too), and I'm sure there are those that would like to see more
technical goings on at the meetings.
So, who'd be interested in giving a 'lightning talk' at a meeting?
