WAVERLEY AMATEUR RADIO SOCIETY

The club's next evening meeting will be held this coming Wednesday, June
20th, at 7:30 pm with doors opening at 7:00. Tony, VK2FREL, who is an
Auto Repair Engineer, will give a talk and demo of "Car Computer Control
and Tuning", together with some interesting comments on popular car
faults and unusual breakdown incidents. Following this Raffy, VK2RF,
will give a short description and video of the club's VK2ROT Paddington
repeater set up.

The club's annual winter auction is on next Saturday morning, June 23rd.
There will be plenty of ham gear on offer including a number of HF, VHF
and UHF transceivers, amplifiers and accessories together with a
quantity of useful test gear. Many of these items can be viewed on the
club web site which contains full details of the event. Much more gear
is expected to arrive before the sale and all are welcome to buy or sell.

The next Project Day is on the afternoon of Saturday, 7th July,
commencing around 1:30pm. Note that Project Days occur on the first
Saturday of every month and the evening meetings on the third Wednesday.

The club holds Foundation Licence courses regularly with the next one
planned for July. Anyone interested should email the club at
exams at vk2bv.org.
