Excellent
day with lots of work being carried out. In fact Tuesdays are getting so busy that not much coffee is being consumed. Below a summary of activities;

1. Removal of 160m loop antenna, disassembly of masts etc. All items appropriately stored away in readiness for the next 160m event.

2. Some urgent repairs carried out to plumbing by Rob VK2VRB when a cracked water pipe started leaking. Thanks Rob as I am sure if had not been around we would have converted the Scout Hall into a swimming pool.

3. Further repairs carried out by Rob (VK2VRB) on the electrical installation by securing the the down stairs light switch.

4. Lyn (VK2FLTJ), Eddie (VK2BEH) and Rob (VK2VRB) did a terrific job of cleaning up the down stairs kitchen area with the removal and disposal of all the rubbish.

5. Raffy demonstrated his new fold up bicycle which is extremely compact. Alan and Neville carried out some brake adjustments on same and we hope to see Raffy astride his new beast in Centennial Park in the near future.

6. Grant provided some movie entertainment for the pending European trip members.

7. Daniel (VK2FDGW) brought in an intelligent HUB that he is working on for some assistance on logging onto it and reconfiguring. Assistance was given and  Daniel went home with a working HUB.

8. Rob VK2VRB brought in his FT747 and the computer interface to attempt to get DX Commander working with the rig, as the rig is not supported by HRD. Alan and Rob spent some time on this getting the DX commander application to talk to the rig.

9. Eddie (VK2BEH) packed up the FT902 that had been sold on e-bay ready for Raffy to post to the successful tenderer.

10. Colin VK2LV joined us late afternoon for afternoon tea and a chin wag. Good to see you Colin.

11. Thanks to Lyn (VK2FLTJ) for an excellent late afternoon tea and the terrific job being done on the grounds.

The day was so busy I am sure I have missed out items, so apologies to those activities missed.
