Wrinkles Report for Tuesday the 16/1/07

 The club gardner has excelled. Upon arrival at the club it was quite apparent that a massive clean up of the immediate club surrounds had occured. Thanks to Lynn VK2FLTJ the yard of the club is a joy to behold.



Achievements.



1. Eddie VK2BEH installed some MDF if the front of the operating position covering the vertical upright between the two windows.

2. Shelving installed above the operating room entry door extended down the full length of the room providing additional storage area and room for books. Thanks Eddie VK2BEH and Jim VK2JA.

3. Jim VK2JA demonstarted a home brew loop receiving antenna cut for the AM broadcast band. This antenna brought even the weakest broadcast station up out of the noise to a comfortable listening level. Thanks to Jim for demonstrating what can really be done with a little thought and application.

4. Daniel VK2FDGW operated the station and managed a few contacts on 15 meters.
5. Most members left by 5PM but have been advised that Lynn remained on till almost midnight cleaning up the mess that had been left by some Scout activity on the weekend. Lynn also cleaned up the operating area and has placed magazine and books onto shelves to be sorted and catalogued by the librarian Alan VK2FALN.



Thanks again to Lynn VK2FLTJ who once again cleaned up the club area
vacuumed carpets etc thanks Lynn.

the 23/1/2007.

(or just riding around the
Park) in Centennial Park Sunday 21/1/07 at 8.00AM onwards all welcome
