[Waverley ARS] Plasma TV Interference

Derek,

I found that some of the TVs do not have appropriate filtering in the AC
mains. This could be the case with the set top box as well.

When I was transmitting on HF, my signals were interfering with my
neighbour's TV.
So, what I did is, wound the TV's power cable on a 10cm long ferrite rod
(available from Jaycar) and this solved the problem. The ferrite rod must be
placed as close as possible to the TV.
