[Waverley ARS] New Switch

Hi everyone,

 

Well, after yesterday's efforts at the club where we installed the new
lining on the inside of the partition and also installed a new power point
in the corner next to the door, , I madder up the relay unit last night and
fitted it this morning. 

 

You now need to switch the switch in the middle of the new power point to
turn on the radio bench equipment. The two double GPOs under the operating
bench are now as follows. The right hand one is permanently powered and the
left hand one is switched from the remote switch. We will probably have to
change one of the plug boards over to the switched one as there are
currently 2 on the unswitched one and only one on the switched one. 

 

So now, when leaving the club, just switch off the remote switch near the
door and all the radio gear will be powered down. No more scrabbling around
the bench to turn it off.
