Hi Raffy

I note the eHam article refers to just one unit and that was 5 years 
ago. I imagine that if this was a common problem with units today, some 
of us would have noticed and investigated this in the Eastern Suburbs by 
now.

I have a small SW battery portable which is quite handy for tracing RFI. 
I recently found that a small switch mode power supply for an external 
disc drive was creating huge amounts of noise on 80m.
