Wrinkles Report for Tuesday the 3/1/07

A couple of long coffee breaks and chin
wagging, made more enjoyable by the provision of ANZAC biscuits by Jim
VK2JA "thanks Jim".
Achievements.
1. Loaded Voice-IP onto server PC and tested successfully from Eddie's
portable confirming audio path for remote operation.
2. Lynn VK2FLTJ provided book shelf that fitted at end of operating
room and will allow for installation of printer and scanner in the Ops
room.
3. Some learning time spent by members with Daniel diagnosing a LED
project he had built.
4. Linear removed from console so that Eric can make brackets and feet
for it. The linear will be re-installed above the current IC725
transeiver.
5. Monitoring of 52.525Mhz indicated that some DX was around, worked
VK2XQ who was calling CQ and working into VK5.
6. Successfully worked Brad VK2CEC on 7.065Mhz. Brad was returning to
Sydney from Grafton mobile on 40 meters.
7. Eric removed the Marine receiver from console preparing it for
relocation to the "Cape Don" as indicated in previous e-mails.
8. Eric measured up operating room for cladding to be installed on
dividing wall. A working bee will install the cladding Saturday
6/1/2007 commencing 9.00AM.
Thanks again to Lynn VK2FLTJ who once again cleaned up the club area
vacuumed carpets etc thanks Lynn.
Next Wrinkles Tuesday to occur on Tuesday
the 9/1/2007.

(or just riding around the
Park) in Centennial Park Sunday 7/1/07 at 8.00AM onwards all welcome
146.50Mhz is the park operational frequency.
