Thank you to those who responded ............. here is the latest.  Just two places left on the TOUR!


The WARS Marconi Apollo Marine Receiver is to be officially handed over, on a long-term-basis, to the restoration team of the MV Cape Don next Sunday, 4th March 2007. As noted in the Minutes of the last formal meeting of WARS in January 2007.

Members are invited to a Tour, BYO BBQ and hand-over ceremony to be held on-board ship on commencing at 4 pm.  
Numbers are limited on the TOUR to total of twelve (12) and I am collecting names.  The following names are on the list:-

What to BRING for the BYO BBQ:-   MEAT, FISH or CHICKEN to cook on the BBQ + GROG of your choice for your party.
            SUPPLIED ITEMS are:-  Salad, Bread, Tea, Coffee, Soft Drrinks, Cockery, Glasses and Eating Irons.

DIRECTIONS
The MV Cape Don is moored at the Coal Wharf in Balls Head Bay, in Balls Head Drive off Balls Head Road, Waverton.
If driving from the City, use the Harbour Bridge (NOT the Tunnel), take the first turn left on Lavender Street.  Head west along Union Street to Woolcott Street and turn left into Balls Head Road.  There is ample parking overlooking the MV Cape Don.
If travelling by train, alight at Waverton Station and walk down Bay Road to Balls Head Road then Balls Head Drive.
