Hello all,

First I might just shout out to those I haven't met yet; I'm a new
member, and just passed the foundation exams this weekend that the club
kindly held :) Look forward to meeting you on the air and in person soon!

So I have my first HF radio on order (718, I also have a VX-7RB for
VHF/UHF portable), and I've been looking at power supplies. Here's a
couple I've shortlisted (I plan on upgrading my license, but not
planning on upgrading a PSU!):

Jaycar MP3078 $100 (current favourite; switchmode, just concerned with
ripple and RFI)

DSE D3800 $200 (designed for HF users)
http://www.dse.com.au/cgi-bin/dse.storefront/en/product/D3800%0A

Altronics M8260 (switchmode, 17mV ripple)

ICOM PS125 $200 (as new from someone at VKHam)

I'm just wondering if anybody has had any experience with these power
supplies (I didn't check eham.net as these are largely Aussie specific
models), or if they have any for sale not listed on the VKHAM classifieds.

Thanks in advance,

Adam (VK2FNRD [I hope])
