[Waverley ARS] how to unlock a mobile phone

Hi all

does anyone know how to unlock a Sony Ericsson j230i because i got it off
virgin mobile and i need it for vodafone and virgin mobile is charging $75
to unlock it.

my new mobile number is 0423173300. I will not be using my old mobile number
anymore
