Dear Members,

Last year I was amazed to be able to both listen to the contestants in real
time on HF , as well track their progress via the URL listed below. 
So for your listening & tracking pleasure, here is the information I gleaned
from the race documents:-
 
 
2007 Sydney to Hobart Yacht race frequencies:-
 
Primary Race Frequency  6516 kHz.

Secondary Frequency     4483 kHz

Also

VHF 81    156.800 MHZ

VHF 16    Ship 157.075 MHZ Shore 161.675 MHZ

Race Starts on 26th December at 1300 (1 pm local)

No doubt there will be some radio traffic on some or all of the above
