[Waverley ARS] Know Your Lighthouse Part III

Yes it's true - there is another lighthouse in our area, sort of.

The Endeavour Light is in La Perouse at Henry Head on Cape Banks (UBD Map 297, J15). It was apparently activated for the 2004 Lighthouse weekend by the St George radio club, but dash it all, surely it "belongs" to Waverley!

Though not exactly the most romantic looking structure and certainly nowhere near as historical as Macquarie or Hornby, it is white and next to the ocean. Have a look at http://www.zeta.org.au/~julian/gallery/endeavour.html
