WAVERLEY AMATEUR RADIO SOCIETY

Please note that the club is not having its usual evening meeting for
December but instead is holding its Xmas dinner at the adjacent RSL Club
on Wednesday, December 19th. Full details have been notified to club
members who should advise Allan, VK2FALN, if they have not already done
so and wish to attend. His email address is vk2faln at vk2bv.org.

The next Project Day is on the afternoon of Saturday, 5th January,
commencing around 1:30pm. Note that Project Days occur on the first
Saturday of every month and evening meetings on the third Wednesday.

The club holds Amateur Examinations & Foundation Licence courses
regularly with the next one currently planned for early February next
year. Anyone interested should email the club at exams at vk2bv.org.

The club is planning a seminar on the Yaesu VX7R hand held transceiver
following requests for help with its complexity. This is to be held on
Saturday, February 23rd next year and is being organised by Allan
VK2FALN. More details will be provided nearer the date, but those
interested can email vk2faln at vk2bv.org to reserve a place.

Waverley's clubhouse is located in the Scout Hall at Vickery Avenue,
Rose Bay, behind the RSL Club on New South Head Road. It is easy to find
and there is plenty of parking space in the grounds.
