Yes, all ideas are worth pursuing and between us we can probably come up
with something interesting and workable. For several reasons, I don't
think any form of "contest" will work, mainly because they take several
years to establish and have to be designed to excite the broad amateur
community. We should be looking more towards Edwin's suggestion of a
"special event station" operating over a few days, with appropriate QSL
cards. We did design several potential QSL cards some years ago
focussing either on the history of the club or its relation to Sydney
and its landmarks, but I would need to search around to find them.
