[Waverley ARS] MV Cape Don - club visit

Hi

Regarding a visit to the Cape Don, it appears that any weekend will suit 
them, subject to there being no other groups at the time. I would like 
to propose that we pick a preferred date in late January or early 
February, probably for a Sunday afternoon visit. A guided tour of the 
ship including bridge, accommodation and machinery spaces will no doubt 
be available.

Would those interested let me know preferred dates and numbers, 
including friends or family, so that I can make the arrangements.

You may like to know that one of our members, Bob VK2TMA, found a real 
disposals shop in Wodonga where he took some photos which he showed me. 
One of the items pictured was a Marconi "Lifeguard" auto alarm emergency 
receiver of the 1960s period. I passed on details to John Walker, the 
Cape Don radio officer, who is interested and will follow it up.
