The reality is that the base data circuit is still an E1 (2Mb/s)  
although higher  multiples are used when needed.
The break point between technologies  are 2/8/34/45 and 155 Mb/s - so  
6Mb/s is delivered as 3 x E1s

The voice variant is the ISDN PRI - which is channelised as you  
indicated. (Looks like it is a bit less than $900 month - which has  
come down a bit since l last time i played...)
One of the drivers is that the equipment interface for an E1 is  
relatively standard but at higher speeds they are a less common and  
more costly
