Subject: [Waverley ARS] RE- ISP bandwidth
Thanks everyone for your help.
In my searching came across the following Broadband search Engine,
for 3 Month Committment, see:
http://bc.whirlpool.net.au/bc-
plan.cfm?state=nsw&class=0&type=res&pre=16000&cost=60&speed=1024&upspe
ed=0&ip=1&contract=6&upfront=999999&needhw=no&conntype=1&conntype=4&so
rt=0
I know its a long search but paste each section into web address.
Note all upstream is Free.
Cheapest: TSN Communications - anyone used them.
Average Speed and Bandwidth compared to telstra much more for the
same price.
If go for 12 Mnths then "Lets Go" is $10 per month cheaper and 60G
24576/1024 - which is amazing. Anyone know them??
See:
http://bc.whirlpool.net.au/bc-
plan.cfm?state=nsw&class=0&type=res&pre=16000&cost=60&speed=1500&upspe
ed=0&ip=1&contract=12&upfront=999999&needhw=no&conntype=1&conntype=4&s
ort=2
Seems if one goes for 12 Month contract bandwidth (for many ISPs)
goes from 1.5M to 24M/1M which is unbelievable however with "Lets Go"
need to have phone bundled for $50 pm.
Notice also "transfer agreement":
http://bc.whirlpool.net.au/isp.cfm/Lets-Go-Go-ADSL/697-2.html
With Bigpond I notice recently I got 1.5m download on cable which is
rare how about DSL.
