We have ADSL2+ here from TPG for the 18Gb limit service at 24/1Mb and 
fixed IP for $50 per month - much cheaper than the slower ADSL1 since 
lower Telstra fees are paid by ISP. If we exceed our download, the line 
is restricted to 256/256kb. You may not need the same download limit 
unless you import a lot of video stuff, so could be cheaper. Also unlike 
bigpond they don't charge uploads against your usage (essential when you 
have a server or send huge emails).
