I use a guy called Paul 0414 487 840 he used to work for Mr Antenna. he
now works for himself I believe contracting to put various companies
installin dish's and ants in syd.
He is Russian and fair priced.. he also loves his beer.
He has helped me put up all my Ants. I don't like walking on roofs.and also
my 4 X 12.just the helping of heavy lifting work.
Just food for thought.
If you want an excellent antenna company go to Msquared www.m2inc.com
<http://www.m2inc.com/> ask for Wyatt great service..great company.. and
anything under $1000 does not obtain import tax now..so easy stuff..
Or the best option is to ask for help from the club.that always works if you
don't want to pay out any money...or beer.!!!!

Hi Saxon,
I assume you mean people who erect antennas. (You can buy excellent antennas
relatively cheaply over the internet). There are an incredible variety, each
with relative merits and disadvantages.
I used a television antenna mob a long time ago for a dipole between two TV
masts. I had to get the antenna ready to be hung, and give them clear
instructions as to what I wanted. Do not assume they are experts in antenna
theory or can give you advice as to what is the best antenna in your
situation.
If you want to install a horizontal dipole and you need someone else to do
it, I assume it is intended to be at a great height. You need to plan how to
get to it in future for maintenance or tuning. With a horizontal dipole, a
good idea would be to prepare a couple of marine grade pulleys. They're
about $15 each.

Then youll need some UV resistant rope. I usually get 6 mil. You will at
least 2.5 times the height of your masts.

You probably should schedule an antenna survey party one day at your place.
A few WARS members for a couple of hours will at least give you advice and
design tips.
cheers
Raffy
