[Waverley ARS] Hawskesbury Canoe Classic ATV event

Hi all,

This Saturday October 28,  the Hawkesbury River Canoe Classic is being
held.  The start is at Windsor at 4.00 pm.

An experimental ATV broadcast is planned to cover the preliminary events
and the staggered starts until sundown. (ATV is no good in the dark).

VK2TRF will be using a wireless camera at Windsor on 1285MHz
transmitting to a stationary vehicle which will then re-transmit on
10236MHz to Dan VK2GG at Kurrajong.  Dan will then re-transmit on
2415MHz to
the race HQ at Seven Hills where the action will be viewed on a large
screen projector. 

The 2.4GHz signal will also be rebroadcast on 23cm by Mike VK2EK to the
Lawson ATV repeater and thence via 70cm to greater Sydney.

I am one person short in the crew.

I need someone to monitor the incoming signals at race HQ in Seven Hills
and basically baby sit the receiver.  A spare RX unit and power supply
will be on site.  It is an inside job so sunburn or rain will not be a
worry.  

Transport to and from will be provided by VK2TRF.

The day will be from around 10am till 7.00pm.
