Hi

Those of you who have been playing with Google Earth may be interested
in the VK2 repeater map set up by Ross VK2FANG. Details below, but note
that the link is used in your normal browser, not GE itself.

I have created a Google Earth layer or .kmz file that shows the
locations of
all known 2m & 70cm repeaters in NSW according to the ACMA Database. This
can be loaded directly from the web using Google Earth's Network Link
mechanism.

You must install Google Earth on your machine first. Then by clicking the
following link the map will load straight into Google Earth...

If you do not see any VK2 repeater sites displayed straight away, go to the
left margin in Google Earth & in the "Places" column, look for "NSW 2m &
70cm Repeaters" & ensure there is a tick in the checkbox to its left.
Clicking this checkbox toggles the display of the repeater sites.
