WAVERLEY AMATEUR RADIO SOCIETY

A reminder that the club's next meeting will be held this coming 
Wednesday, May 17th at 7:30 pm and is the occasion for our Annual 
General Meeting.

The next Project Day will be held on the afternoon of Saturday, June 3rd 
commencing around 1:30pm.

Note that Project Days are normally held on the first Saturday of every 
month with evening meetings on the third Wednesday.

The club's annual auction this year will take place on the morning of 
Saturday 24th June, so make a note in your diary and check the web site 
for details.

The next Foundation Licence course is expected to be held early in June. 
Those interested should contact the co-ordinator Eric, VK2VE, via email 
to exams at vk2bv.org

The club has recently started a net at 8:00pm every weekday lasting 
around half an hour on the Paddington repeater on 147.025Mhz. Due to 
QRM, it requires a 123Hz tone. Anyone is welcome to join in.

Waverley's clubhouse is located in the Scout Hall at Vickery Avenue,
Rose Bay, behind the RSL Club on New South Head Road; it is easy to find
and there is plenty of parking space in the grounds.
