Hi Colin,

I use both Skpe and MSN Messenger 7.5 regularly. Both work very well, I
talk regularly with suppliers in the US, China and Italy on Skpe and
find it very effective.

Skype is a newer platform for Video so its clarity is a little better,
however being newer I have found more related parties still using MSN
Messenger 7.5.

I have my Skpe address below if you want to set me up. MSN Messenger is
also free to download but a little more trouble to set up correctly with
the verification process they have in place, but its really not that
hard.

You can "Skpe Me" any time you see me on line,,,,,

Subject: [Waverley ARS] Skype

Hi all!

I have just installed Skype (audio + video). It works quite well but I'm
still on the learning curve.

I would be interested to know who else has Skype installed and if so do
they have only audio available or audio + video.

My computer has found by itself (!) that among WARS members Simon, Brad,
and Raffy have it.

There is one immediate problem that I would like to fix: when I test my
outgoing audio + video by receiving it on the webcam test facility - I
find that there is a synch error due to slight audio delay. This is also
apparent at both ends on two-way contacts.
Any suggestions?

(My webcam is a Logitech Pro 5000 which comes with software on CD and
headset)
