Ok fellers .......... Enough Enough. All the points have been made.
George has admitted that he was a bit "over the top" in his choice of words and seems to be contrite.
Any further comments are not necessary. Both David and George have given valuable input to the technical discussion for the benefit of young and older members, for this we should all thank them. I do.
Now let it rest .................. thank you. 73s .......... Jim VK2JA

Go for it David..I love the advice, your company and power to you..laugh.
You helped me out on a few things..I appreciate it.
Anyone who knocks you - is of the old style minority.
Don't you love Australia and its knockers.all the help you have given to the club and individuals (like me)..and some are still not happy..

Hi Colin,
I do appreciate your comments, I must say I was put off by Georges remarks but frankly thought a response did not warrant the time it would take. Most members who are active I believe realise that I am involved in the club to help support Amateurs and the movement in general. I am not interested in selling the one or two EMPs to Amateurs......its is Not really our business. My response was purely for interest sakes. George if you were more active you would better understand my involvement in the club.
PS.....my Advanced license should be through soon !!
Regards,
David Benchoam.

Hi All
I was sorry to see the sarcasm and implied criticism of David Benchoam in the email sent to members earlier to-day by George VK2KGG because of David providing us with info re the antenna gas fuse available from Benelec.
I see it as a useful and interesting service to members for him to keep us informed of products of interest which are available from his firm. With AR now the only VK amateur magazine (and with very few product reviews or product news there) I think it is indeed useful as a service to members to get information from time to time from David. I have never seen him present his products with any pressure or exaggeration.
As for the sarcasm about David's independence - he has always shown the name of his firm so his interest is quite clear.
David has always been an active and involved member of WARS and has contributed on many occasions in a very willing way.
If other distributors would like to make the same contributions to the Club I am sure they would be most welcome.
73 Colin VK2LV
