Ed, yes I have one, it is my home set although I to have considered 
putting it in the car, just too slack to get the job done.

I have had mine for about 2 years now and no problems, excepting that 
the CTCSS tone board was optional and mine did not have it, luckily 
Henry knew the name of the board and I was able to get one from Dick 
Smith who still had some in their warehouse.  When I got it (about a 
year ago) they still had about 2 left in stock.  It was not difficult 
to install.  I'm afraid I can't remember the name of the 
board.  Until I got the board I hardly ever turned the set on as 
pagers kept the mute open all the time.   My dial light is still 
good, touch wood.
